Managing Resources, Costs and Multiple Projects
Microsoft Project is a very powerful tool that often lets you do the WRONG thing.
Yes, you read that right!
Particularly when it comes to assigning resources to tasks. If done incorrectly (and no – Microsoft Project does not warn you when you are!), you can basically destroy all your hard work in one foul swoop.
Think I’m exaggerating? Try it and see. But make sure you make a backup of your project first. Just in case…
People are always so amazed at how many ways you can assign resources to tasks in Microsoft Project – especially when they learn there is actually only one correct way.
What do you need help with:
This course aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to assign and manage resources on your project, and product reports on how the project is tracking. It also covers how to manage multiple projects.
And don't worry if you're not sure what level you are at. Check out our list of topics to see which ones you are interested in and we can customise a course to suit. How clever are we!

"I attended the Excel training session yesterday, and was amazed at how much I learnt - this is in no small way due to the high calibre of the instructor who has done an absolutely fantastic job at each course I attended.
A more friendly, pleasant and professional person you could not wish to meet! To be able to convey so much wisdom in such a clear and understandable way is a credit to her."

"M.S Planet Computer Training was relevant, practical, able to match the varying skills of the participants and have everyone come out with the 'WOW' factor and feeling like real improvements in the way we do things is achievable. The staff all enjoyed the training. At no point did anyone feel that something was beyond them or beneath them. This is a significant achievement in a diverse group. We would definitely choose M.S Planet for our future computer training."

"I will reiterate the comments I have previously made about Nicole, in that I like that her sessions have structure but she's very open to being flexible and dealing with people's questions as they come up.
She's a very clear communicator. I think she's great."
